Hi doctor, my mom is a 57y never smoker, has been diagnosed to have stage 4 squamous cell lung cancer with metastasis to T12. Her molecular profile including ALK and EGFR are negative but ROS1 and PD1 are still pending. HA doctors have suggested chemotherapy +- immunotherapy. But the main problem is my mom has severe intractable cough with post tussive vomiting despite codeine tab, ventolin and all kinds of cough syrup. Just want to ask if any meds can help relieve her severe cough and also want to ask about in what circumstances is immunotherapy useful in my mom’s case? Thanks a lot!!!
