癌症資訊網由癌症康復者吳偉麟（Alan）於2010年創立，2017年正式註冊為癌症資訊網慈善基金。2003年，32歲的Alan確診鼻咽癌，接受電療後至今完全康復。然而，他的家庭經歷遠比個人抗癌更為沉重：母親懷他期間已患癌，其後大姐、三哥、三嫂、四姐及父親相繼確診癌症。一家七口均面對癌症的打擊，大姐更因當時資訊不足而走上冤枉路，最終離世。多年陪伴家人出入醫院的日子，讓Alan深深體會到癌友及照顧者在孤單、無助中的迫切需要——他們最需要的，是可靠、清晰且可付諸實踐的資訊。正因如此，Alan決心成立癌症資訊網，希望透過自身經歷及專業資源，避免更多人重蹈覆轍。網站由他親手創建並長期推動，目的是為癌友及照顧者提供務實支援，讓後來者的抗癌之路更清晰、更易行。

About Us

Cancerinformation.com.hk was founded in 2010 by cancer survivor Ng Wai Lun (Alan), and formally registered as Cancerinformation.com.hk Charity Foundation in 2017.

In 2003, at the age of 32, Alan was diagnosed with nasopharyngeal cancer. After completing radiotherapy, he has remained cancer-free to this day. However, cancer has deeply affected his entire family: his mother was diagnosed while pregnant with him, and in the following years, his eldest sister, third elder brother, sister-in-law, fourth elder sister, and father were all diagnosed with cancer. All seven family members faced the disease. His eldest sister, due to insufficient information at the time, took a wrong path and eventually passed away. Years of accompanying his family through hospital visits made Alan acutely aware of the loneliness and helplessness experienced by cancer patients and their caregivers — what they needed most was reliable, clear, and practical information.

It is precisely because of this family experience that Alan established Cancerinformation.com.hk . Drawing from his own journey and professional resources, he is determined to prevent others from repeating the same mistakes. The website was built and has been continuously driven by him, with the goal of providing practical support to cancer patients and caregivers, making the road ahead clearer and easier for those who follow.

Our Mission
